Accommodation & Facilities
SHIKWARI LUXURY BUSH LODGE Retire when the day is done to your luxurious suite, secluded amongst the bush. Each suite is beautifully decorated and well appointed, with a hospitality tray and mini bar stocked at you request. The en-suite bathrooms have large oval baths and outdoor showers with mountain views. All rooms are airconditioned and beds made up with percale linen. No children under 13
PANGOLIN BUSH CAMP ? SELF CATERING Accommodating 8 in 4 Rondavels. 3Rooms have queen beds and 1 is a twin. There is a communal fully equipped, open air kitchen, an open patio, boma and pool, a large bathroom with toilet, one separte toilet and outdoor shower . Not suitable for preschool children, cots not supplied.
Outdoor Facilities
Our lodge is home to a variety of non-dangerous game such as Giraffe, Wildebeest, Impala, Livingstone?s Eland, Waterbuck, Grey Duiker, Zebra and Bushbuck. Less seen are Pangolin for which the lodge takes it's Shangaan name, Porcupine, Jackal, Bushbaby & Warthog, take your binoculars and do some birding, explore the bush on foot.
Our lodge commands wonderful vistas of the Skilderkrans Mountain and Mariepskop part of the Northern Drakensburg Mountains which are home to the Manoutsa Vulture Colony with up to 660 pairs of Cape Vulture and Tiaita Falcon. Birds here are prolific and we are on the Kruger to Canyon birding route.
The Main lodge area has a tranquil plunge pool and shady veranda where one can relax, sleep or read. In the early evening watch the sunset turn the Mountains into a rainbow of colour whilst enjoying snacks and sundowners, after which one can dine either under a dark velvet, star-filled sky, or in our well appointed candlelit romantic dining room.

Meet Jessica the Hippo. Drive towards Hoedspruit and on the left take the turning to Essex Road, the sign for Jessica is also at this turning.
