The owners description of Seascape:
When we were looking for a house to buy in the Simon's Town area we listed
our special requirements.....
A house with privacy, but in easy walking distance of shops
and restaurants in the historic village of Simon's Town;
A house with a wonderful view, but well protected from the wind.
A house with three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom,
and a good modern kitchen.
After many weeks of searching we found one house that had all we wanted,
and more too....Seascape, No. 3, Water Lane, Simon's Town. We hope that you
will agree with us that it is a wonderful place for a holiday.
Accommodation & Facilities
A large verandah, with a splash pool, and panoramic views of False Bay. This
is where we spend much of our time, and eat most of our meals. A Weber
braai is available. To your left is a separate bedroom and bathroom.
Double doors from the verandah lead to the sitting and dining area. There
are really comfortable chairs and sofas, and a Television set with DSTV connections.
There is a fully-equipped double kitchen with dishwasher, washing-machine
and tumble-dryer, a stove with convection oven, a microwave and fridge.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom.
Upstairs you will find the second bedroom, with its bathroom across the
passage. And finally there is the master bedroom with its en suite bathroom
and shower. Enjoy the view of the sea, the marina and the dockyards from
both bedrooms, framed by the bougainvillea.

Nearby outdoor attractions:
Boulders Beach, a magnificent swimming beach and home to the famous African Penguin colony.
Cape Point Nature Reserve - a 15 minute drive along a picturesque coastal route.
Hike the many enjoyable trails in the mountains above the town and in the Cape Point Nature Reserve.
Whale watching.
Sea kayaking, scuba diving or deep sea fishing
Golf at Simon s Town Country Club or Clovelly Golf and Country Club.
Sunset cruises in the greater False Bay.
Marine wildlife trips - learn all about the great white shark and other marine animals.
Catch a train along the False Bay coast.
Cultural & Historical interest
The town is steeped in Naval history and the British influence is immediately felt and seen in the architecture. There are a number of excellent museums reflecting the naval and cultural heritage of the town.

Rates quoted are for 4 people, the 5th and 6th persons would be 1/2 price.
Children also pay 1/2 price.
For booking of 14 days or more, we will look at a discounted rate as well as a booking for 1 month or more. |
