A national monument, Ryneveld Lodge is ideally situated in oak-lined Ryneveld Street, a scenic two minute stroll from the historic centre of town and a stone's throw from the university.

Cape Town is but 40 minutes away and the seaside town of Hermanus ( the Whale Coast), a scenic one hour's drive away.
Accommodation & Facilities
Ryneveld Country Lodge (1860) is an elegantly restored three star guesthouse that lies under the age-old oak trees of Stellenbosch. This manor house and converted slave houses furnished with Victorian Period pieces, offer our guests comfort and privacy. Guests are also welcome to relax around the swimming pool or in front of our log fire.
Ryneveld Lodge has 16 rooms in total; 5 family cottages, 3 twin bedded rooms, 7 double rooms, and 1 single room. All rooms are furnished with antiques and offer our guests a feeling of luxury. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning (in winter a heater), TV with M-Net, direct dial telephones, desk, alarm clock, coffee and tea facilities, hairdryer and fridge. For families we have 5 self-catering cottages, which consist of two separate bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower, and a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave.
From our office guests are able to send and receive either faxes or e-mail.

A choice of tours around the winelands and Cape Town area are offered through the lodge as well as shuttles and transfers.
