One of Breede Rivers Top 10 Restaurants: Head Chef Stelios presents a fusion of classical cuisine amidst ageless splendor accompanied by award-winning Robertson wines. Cigar bar for pre-and after dinner drinks next to the wine cellar is available for the restaurants guests.

Game Drives

The Nature Lover will have a fantastic opportunity to explore the hidden valley and admire the 2000 HA of spectacular mountain scenery. Our trails will appeal to those interested in birds, game and indigenous flora and fauna.

Accommodation & Facilities 
The Guesthouse is a haven of serenity with a choice of eight elegant rooms located in the original Farmers House and the new Manor House of the property. Each en-suite room is tastefully furnished with exquisite colonial furniture’s and all rooms overlook the vineyards, the dam or our manicured gardens.

Amenities on offer to our patrons include an on-site spa and wellness center. Guests can shed their cares and surrender themselves to the quality of personal service, unique to a small luxury establishment. Rosendal is an ideal starting point for day excursions to some of the Breede River’s other attractions.

The SPA Suites

The SPA Suites are larger rooms in the manor-house, overlooking the pool, the dam and the grape orchards. It’s furnished with colonial teak furniture’s, and has a romantic, open bath, surrounded by silk curtains.

Farm Room

The three standard rooms are located in the old farm house. All the rooms are en-suite and have a private stoop with a view over the grape orchards that are just meters away. There is colonial teak furniture in all the standard rooms.

Rosendal Wellness Center

At the SPA and Wellness Center of Rosendal our qualified therapists offers traditional treatments using products from wine grapes, powered with antioxidants and feeling as nice as they are healthy.

The guide of Klaas Vogds Nature Reserve will take you from our doorstep into the Langeberg mountain which is home to a large Varity of Fynbos such as Proteas and Ericas and other species including lilies, ferns and trees.

For Game viewing the Nature Reserve include among others; Mountain Zebras, Giraffes, Duiker, Grysbok, Rhebok, Bush Buck, Cape Otter, Lynx, Baboon and even leopard.

During the Game Drives, Rosendal will offer you a picnic basket from our kitchen, making your trip an unforgettable experience.
