Old Coach Road Guest House is situated 9km from Barberton on the R38 Kaapmuiden road. Set in 13 acres of bushveld within the Barberton Mountainlands Nature Reserve, it is ideal for a quiet week-end break or stop over between the national parks of Natal and Mpumalanga.
Accommodation is separate from the main house and each room has an own private entrance. Rooms have en-suite facilities with either bath or shower. Accommodation up to 22 persons and ideal for small groups. Accommodation is offered on a bed and breakfast basis with dinner available from a menu.
Barberton has much to offer the visitor. Gold panning excursions, microlighting, horse riding and quad biking are some of the experiences on offer. For nature lovers, there is a 5km mountain hike on the property as well as the Rimers Creek bird trail in Barberton. Kruger National park, Malelane, is only 64km nearby and we will pack you a picnic basket for a day visit. For 4x4 enthusiasts, this is mountainland area and various scenic day drives are possible from Old Coach Road.

Accommodation consists of 4 double rooms with shower, 1 twin with shower, 2 singles with shower and 2 family units each with two separate bedrooms, bathroom and small lounge. Facilities for wheel chairs are available.
Outdoor Facilities
If you are feeling fit, try the Old Coach Road Mountain hike. A distance of 5km, duration 3-4 hours. The hike rises from 600m msl to 900m ms for a fantastic view of the Dekaap Valley and Makonjwa Mountains behind Barberton.
