With it's African ambience, Longcrested Eagle Country Lodge is the perfect base from which to experience the pride of South Africa's conservation efforts, the Kruger National Park, which is a short and easy drive away.
This luxurious family-run retreat is a haven of peace and tranquillity, where only the wildlife disturbs the silence especially the abundant birdlife, which includes the distinctive longcrested eagle and the spectacular purplecrested lourie.
Longcrested Eagle Country Lodge is situated between Sabie and Hazyview in the picturesque Mpumalanga Province and is 380 kilometres (236 miles) east of Pretoria. By road the journey from Pretoria takes 3½ hours; the Lodge may also be reached by air, from Johannesburg International Airport to Skukuza Airport.
This peaceful retreat is ideal for any business or private getaway.
Accommodation & Facilities
The well appointed business conference room is designed for the use of senior executives and embassy staff. The airconditioned conference room has television, audio, video, projector screen, flip chart, copier and fax machine and seats up to 22 delegates.
The lodge caters for up to 60 people in its African themed restaurant. A selection of South Africa's finest wines is available from the Ladies' bar.
The Accommodation is luxurious, and the five chalets and four double rooms with en-suite bathrooms have been lovingly decorated to create fivestar elegance. The en-suite rooms have satellite television, mini bar and telephone.
The fully self-catering chalets have been equipped with telephone, satellite television and barbeque area.
