Leopard Mountain Game Lodge is the ideal getaway where everybody from the old to young will enjoy a fascinating experience in the wild. The award winning 4 star lodge is located high up in the wild secluded hills of the 23 000ha Zululand Black Rhino Reserve.
Overlooking a vast stretch of unspoiled bushland and riverine forests, from the Umsunduze River meandering below to the distant Lebombo Mountains, the lodge has one of the most spectacular views in Zululand.

Accommodation & Facilities
All of our accommodation is luxurious - stone and thatch chalets nestled on the cliff top overlooking the Umsunduze river below and the distant Lebombo mountains. Each chalet has it's own private deck with hammock, bathroom en-suite, incredible views, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, small lounge area and of course twin beds - family rooms have bunks as well. There is no air conditioning in the chalets but very high 'semi open' ceilings with overhead fans (all closed off with mosquito meshing).
After a hearty buffet breakfast, spend the day discovering the many unforgettable experiences we can offer. This is the place to be for all outdoor enthusiasts.
Outdoor Facilities
The main lodge features a very comfortable dining room, bar, lounge and deck area. Other amenities include a unique rock swimming pool. The Lodge also has team building and conferencing facilities and a range of activities one can opt to book for outside of the reserve.
Sporting & Leisure Activities
Activities include, Lake Cruises, Game Viewing, Game Drives at Hluhluwe / Mkuze Game Reserves, Bird-watching, Tiger Fishing, Sunset Cruise ? Lake Jozini, Diving at Sodwana,Whale Watching - Seasonal (June to November) and the Zulu Cultural Experience.
