Although the suites have their own kitchenettes, there is a food and beverage operation, Feathers Bistro & Bar. There are 14 1-Bedroom Suites offering one full en-suite bedroom, kitchenette, guest bathroom (including shower), open plan lounge and dining area flowing onto a patio or balcony. There are 7 2-Bedroom Suites offering two full en-suite bedrooms, kitchenette, guest bathroom (including shower), and open plan lounge and dining area flowing onto a patio or balcony.

Standard Suite features include Classic, up-market interior and exterior furnishings; Kitchenette including utensils, glassware, cutlery, and crockery; kitchenette equipment includes mini dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, 2-plate hob and extractor fan. Air conditioning in every room, television per room with selected network channels, digital safe, intercom system, sleeper couch in living area - suitable for children under 12 years and original artist paintings.

Cultural & Historical interest    
Lake Pleasant Hotel & Spa was established in 1895 as a hunting and fishing lodge.

The closest town of Knysna’s history weaves a colourful tapestry of woodcutters, sea-farers, gold-diggers and timber merchants. Whilst the town’s streets and quaint, old buildings echo with its commercial past, the rocky coast and deep, silent forests whisper of men with bows and arrows, ancient hunters, gatherers and nomads. Khoisan people inhabited the Garden Route from the Stone Age onwards, feeding on the riches of land and sea. They were displaced only after the first Dutch settlers arrived in the area during the seventeenth century. A wood-cutters post was established at George in 1776.
