Inyati is set in 65 000 hectares on the banks of the Sand River, Sabi Sand Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park. Ecologically re-established clearings allow close-up game viewing and photography. The river patio overlooks the riverine vegetation, natural habitat for elephant and hippo.
Open Land Rovers are used for game viewing in search of the Big Five. Wildlife viewing is second to none with good quality viewing of leopard, as well as elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and a vast variety of antelope and other species. A ranger and Shangaan tracker accompany walking safaris.
Guests can enjoy drinks at the Warthog Wallow bar before dinner is served in the boma.
There is a filtered swimming-pool, air-conditioned gym and walk-in wine cellar that offers top South African wines.
Accommodation & Facilities
Inyati Game Lodge comprises of seven double chalets and four executive chalets, all with own en-suite bathroom and shower, outside shower, air-conditioning, overhead fans, private lounge, direct dial telephones and game-viewing deck.
Outdoor Facilities
The river patio and dining area that overlooks the riverine vegetation, natural habitat for elephant and hippo , Warthog hollow bar , library, filtered swimming-pool, air-conditioned gym and walk-in wine cellar. Our traditional Shangaan boma is used on alternate nights, and is a truly memorable way to experience a safari evening under the African night sky. Fine cuisine and wines can be sampled while sitting near a warm crackling fire
Sporting & Leisure Activities
View Africa?s most impressive wildlife on morning and afternoon/ evening game drives in open 4-wheel drive safari vehicles with expert guides and Shangaan trackers.
Guests can also enjoy interpretive guided bush walks offering the bird watcher, dendrologist, botanist and the nature enthusiast the ultimate bush experience.
Game drives traverse an area of 10 000 hectares and strict vehicle limits at sightings ensure the exclusivity of your game viewing experience. Off-road driving ensures that you have the best possible view of any exceptional sighting and rangers are constantly in touch with each other to keep track of animal movements.
