Nestled in the leafy suburb of Gillitts in the western suburbs of Durban , we are 20 minutes from the beachfront , and half an hour from Pietermaritzburg.Literally on the Comrades Marathon route , we are very easily accessible from both the M13 highway , and N3 freeway , in close proximity to shopping centres , private schools and golf courses.We cater for both the business and leisure guest who are looking for peace and quiet in a warm and friendly environment.

Hawks Rest has five rooms , each fitted with private bathrooms , televisions , heaters , extra blankets , tea and coffee facilities.We have an enormous swimming pool and thatched entertainment area.We have a tennis court and offer secure , off-street parking , with each room having individual access control.Breakfasts are served in a separate guests dining-room , and dinners are available on request.Babysitting , laundry and ironing services are available and are charged separately.Office facilities such as telephones , faxes , internet and workstations are available.
