Fern Gully Farm is in a rural, forested area 16kms outside the picturesque coastal town of Knysna, 'capital' of the Cape's GardenRoute and on route to the historic Millwood Goldmines and the indigenous state forests.
Buffels Bay, a popular bathing and surfing beach, is a 15 minute car drive away and the area abounds in hiking and horse riding trails..
Accommodation & Facilities
The uniquely built wooden cabins are set amongst the trees where one can enjoy the serenity of the country and the bird-life in their natural habitat.
Each cabin is fully equipped and furnished for self-catering ease. BBQ facilities are on the deck and an added attraction, an outside hot and cold shower.
Owl and Hoopoe are 2 berth cabins and very popular with Honeymooners as a secluded, romantic hideaway. Coucal has two double bedrooms and Porcupine has a seperate bedroom from the open-plan living-room.
