Cottage Pie offers guests spacious rooms and suites, fully equipped with every modern convenience. This comfort, combined with the warm personal attention of hosts, Frik and Nerine, guarantees an unforgettable stay on the Garden Route.

Meals are served on a poolside patio beneath cascading Bougainvillaea. Breakfasts range from light Continental (with home-made preserves), to English, to hearty South African.
Frik and Nerine regularly arrange a variety of day tours for guests, favourites include: forest hikes, beach trails on horseback, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing. Cottage Pie’s famous cordon bleu picnic baskets add a touch of class to guest’s outdoor activities.

Being in close proximity to tourists Edens such as the Tstitsikamma Rain Forest, the Knysna Estuary and its town, and the arid beauty of ostrich country behind the Outeniqua Mountains, Cottage Pie has proved to be an ideal spot from which to begin discovering the secrets of this, reputedly, the most beautiful region in South Africa.
