The Brown Jug Guest House is a luxury styled guest house located in a quiet and secluded part of Hermanus but close enought to all amenities. The Brown Jug offers a choice of three tastefully appointed units, two of which can be used on a self catering basis. Our tranquil beautifully manicured garden provides a peaceful setting in which to relax, and the sparkling swimming pool, welcome relief on those warm summer days. We are within easy walking distance from the village, cliff paths for whale watching and restaurants. We offer on site under cover parking for our guests and our units sleep from two to five comfortably. With special attention to detail and finer finishings, I am sure you will have a wonderful stay with us whether it be for a day or longer.
Accommodation & Facilities
Three units: Unit One is a luxury two sleeper with king size or twin bed options in a private bedroom. A sleeper couch in the lounge is ideal for one or two children. The unit has a lounge and dining area with separate kitchen and full bathroom. Overlooking the Koi pond with the majestic mountain range backdrop, this is an ideal setting for short or longer stays. Private Barbecue facilities provided.
Unit Two: Has two bedrooms with two en-suite full bathrooms, a separate lounge and dining room with barbecue patio overlooking the swimming pool. This is a privately situated cottage and can sleep two couples with a fifth person with ease. Fully equipped kitchen.
Unit Three: Large B&B suite with bar fridge and outdoor patio with garden furniture. Full bathroom and lounge area. All of our units have fridges, TV's and are tastefully furnished with fine attention to detail.
Outdoor Facilities
Lovely inviting swimming pool for the use of our guests. The Brown Jug is situated on a double stand with a beautifully manicured garden. The tranquil atmosphere and relaxed home from home ambience will certainly make you want to visit us again.

The price structure differs according to the number of people occupying the unit. The family unit, (Unit Two) a five sleeper, comes down in unit cost if five people share, ie: five people @ 120 per night as opposed to R400 per couple. E-mail your specific requirements and a price structure can be quoted more accurately.
The two sleeper self catering unit (Unit One) is priced at R340 per couple per night and an extra R30 can be added for breakfast.
Unit Three is currently priced at R220 per person bed and breakfast. |
