Bou Bou Lodge is a spacious three bedroom home that can comfortably sleep 10. The house is in a quiet area just above Main Road in Scarborough, which is a conservation village just 45 minutes from Cape Town city centre. It has a fantastic beach, which is great for surfing and sunbathing. The house is a 10 minute walk from the beach.
Accommodation & Facilities
Accommodation consists of three double rooms. The first room is at the back of the house and has a double bed, table and chairs, couch, kitchenette and bathroom. The bathroom has a crete stone finish and has a shower, toilet and basin. The room leads onto a spacious deck which has stunning views of Scarborough beach. You can relax on the deck as you watch the sun go down over the Atlantic Ocean. The second bedroom has a kingsize bed and en en-suite shower room. The third bedroom has a double bed. The third bathroom has a bath shower and WC.
The living area is openplan and consists of a kitchen, dining area and lounge. The kitchen has a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, oven and fridge. The living area leads out onto a covered stoep, which has a built in braai. The stoep has sea views.
There is a second TV lounge and a mezzanine floor above the kitchen. The TV lounge has a TV (with DSTV) and video machine. Extra mattresses can be arranged for children. The house has an alarm and there is a double garage and plenty of off street parking. The garden is indigenous and it is enclosed. There is a second braai area towards the back of the house.
Outdoor Facilities
There are many activities right on your doorstep, such as hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, swimming and surfing. The beach is very close by and if you don't feel like cooking there are two restaurants within walking distance. Scarborough borders the Cape Point Nature Reserve and is just a 10 minute drive from the entrance to the reserve.

The sandy beach is just a 10 minute walk. It has great waves for surfing and bodyboarding and there are rock pools for children to play in. The area is perfect for hiking and cycling. Simon's Town golf course is just 10 minutes away.
