Beachcomber Cottages are a selection of self catering, thatched, characterisitic cottages set in an Eco Coastal Estate, surrounded by nature with uninterupted sea views.
Each cottage has a lovely deck or patio with bbq facilities and are located between 200 and 600m from a pristine sandy beach. All our cottages have indoor open firplaces and are fully equiped.
Wildlife viewing includes zebra, springbok, dyker, bushbuck, caracle and a large variety of bird life...as well as visiting whales in the winter months (June to September)
The cottages are ideal for nature lovers and familes that enjoy the great outdoors. Walking and cycling along the gravel roads is wonderful within the estate. The beaches are remote, pristine and breathtaking.
The estate is a 25 minute drive to the historical town of Mossel Bay where many shops, banks, restaurants and beaches can be found. There is also a lovely restaurant close to the entrance of the estate and a small shop in the next village of Vleesbaai.
We provide bed linen and towels.
Some of our cottages are 4 star graded.
All of our cottages are solar powered.
All of our cottages operate a recycling scheme.

7 thatched cottages all with sea views and along access roads to a pristine sandy beach.
All cottages have equipped kitchens and between 2 and 4 bedrooms. Each house has between 2 and 4 bathrooms.
All houses have indoor fireplaces and outdoor braai/bbq areas.
All houses have a sea view.
All houses are within Springerbaai Eco Estate
All houses are solar powered.

The immediate area of Vleesbay offers 4x4 dune driving, te longest sandboarding slope in South Africa and the Oystercatcher Hiking trail.
Our guests have access to a sport and leisure centre in Boggomsbaai with tennis, squash, a small indoor pool, massage rooms and a gym.
Mossel Bay offers sky diving, shark diving, sailing, snorkling, scuba diving, surfing lessons, great surfing, game drives, steam train rides, helicopter rides, a Branyard Theatre, fishing charters, whale watching charters, amazing golf courses and much more
Cultural & Historical interest
Mossel Bay is a wonderfully historic town. Explore Mossel Bay's pat at teh Dias Museum Complex where you can board a relica Of Dias' ship or send a postcard from the post office tree.
Visit the ancient Khoi shelter of the Cape st Blaise Cave and climb the path to the lighthouse.
