Africanos Lodge Bar & Grill is situated in the Sundays River Valley in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa near a village called Addo. The world renowned Addo Elephant Park is 10 and the Port Elizabeth Airport 45 minutes drive away. Shuttle transport services for guests are offered to both.

Visit Africanos for upmarket accommodation excellent food and entertainment in a malaria free environment. Our Bar is fully licensed with the latest state of the art Satellite television equipment installed. All sport events can be viewed here. The friendly and cosy atmosphere is the ideal opportunity for guests to mingle with locals and experience real South African hospitality.

Our Grill offers a full a la Carté Menu and is known for "the best food in the Sundays River Valley" and is open from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 18:00 to 21:30 six days a week. On Sundays the restaurant is open from 18:00 to 21:30. The Restaurant can seat 50 persons and a further 70 persons can be accommodated in the open Court yard.

Coupled to our accommodation options it is the ideal countryside venue for a special occasion. A chappel is also located on the premises. The facilities are ideally suited for events such as weddings, birthday parties and other celebrations. The latest addition is our 300 seat barn type theatre for live music shows, conferences , wedding receptions and special functions.

Accommodation & Facilities
Africanos Lodge offers upmarket accommodation packages in 10 tastefully furnished luxury chalets with en suite bathrooms (both showers and baths).
Each Chalet also has it's own lounge area.
All Chalets are equipped with a stocked Mini Bar as well as complimentary coffee and tea facilities.
Each Chalet also has secure under cover parking.
There are two family chalets each sleeping four persons.
The other eight chalets sleep 2 persons each and have double beds as well as lounge areas.
One wheelchair friendly chalet is available.

Outdoor Facilities
There is also a Golf Course as well as tennis courts nearby which can be utilised upon request.
Day trips can be made to Addo Elephant Park. Night game viewing drives are also regularly organised for guests.
There are various scenic drives in the Addo area and a popular outing is a day trip to the Zuurberg Mountain Pass.
