Only a 2,5hours drive from JSB Int. Airport, you will find 24Riviere Private Game Farm close to the little town of Vaalwater(Mabatlane). The farm is located on top of a mountain in the Malaria free Waterberg Biosphere. Staying in one of the different types of accommodation you will experience nature at his best. And although your stay will be in the bush or the mountains, luxury and comfort are there, accompanied by excellent food. The atmosphere and beauty of this last undiscovered piece of South Africa, the silence of nature and at the same time the sounds of it, gives you the rest and peace that you are looking for. Enjoy the typical African Bush or open Savannah with its beautiful views and spectacular sunsets that you can see from your private lodge or during a game drive.

24Riviere Private Game Farm is newly developed in the Waterberg area. It started in April 2005, but already several high quality accommodations are finished. Treating you well and give you that good time that that you are looking for, that is what the 24Riviere team stands for in this area often called "South Africa’s Eden."

Accommodation & Facilities
Different types of accommodation will be available on 24Riviere Private Game Farm . The Mountain Lodges are build in the mountains, out of the mountains. With rocks and thatch roofs these Rondavel designed lodges have cool day temperature and nice warmth at night. The spacious lodges are finished and furnished in style to provide you with comfort and luxury. Two bedrooms en suite with King-size beds are at your convenience. One with a classic bath and one with quality design rain shower. Every bedroom has a small combination safe build in. A living area is furnished with comfortable sofa and easy chairs to relax. The remote controlled fan gives some extra cooling on the very hot days. A small kitchen unit is there to make a small snack, coffee or tea, but also the mini-bar is situated here. From both bedrooms and living you have access to a large fully furnished sundeck with build in Whirlpool. This sundeck gives you also the opportunity to look some Bush-TV with channels as the beautiful views and magnificent sunsets. Complete it with a sundowner, which we will be most happy to serve on your private sundeck. On 24Riviere Private Game Farm we offer several services to our guests. We arrange sleep-over for late international arrivals with tranfer from and to JSB Int. Airport. Internet acces is available in the office. Drinks and refreshments are being served at the mainhouse lapa but on request on your private lodge/sundeck. Children are welcome. Under the age of 12 year we can offer you special rates. When you want to go out, the 24 Riviere team can Baby-sit your little ones. Daily laundry service is included. Just drop your laundry in the basket and it will be clean in your lodge the next morning. Breakfast, lunch and diners are served in a friendly family atmosphere under the main house lapa.

Outdoor Facilities
The swimmingpool is there for you to use at the Lapa near the main-house. Sundecks from the mountain lodges have their own private Whirlpool. Hiking on the farm. Be as close to nature as possible. Birdwatching. Game viewing. Quad-bike rides. Your car can be safely parked at your lodge or at the main-house.

Sporting & Leisure Activities  
In the little town of Vaalwater you`ll find several good restaurants at close range. Some Bars are also there. For a treat in one of the beauty salons we recommend to make appointments. We will assist you. Fishing trips are to book in the area. Several dams and rivers are at close range. Game drives on the farm are included, but why not go for a big-5 tour by game-viewer but also a horse-back safari among the big-5 is one to remember. For those who come to golf there is a new luxury golfcourse in Modimolle at only 45 min. drive. Make a beautifull hiking trip on the farm but also in the area. Trips for one day but even more days are to choose from. At close distance we can advise you to have a horse-back adventure. Visit the local market and shops and in between have a refreshment on a terrace. Some say that a ride on elephant back is a must. Vaalwater gives you the opportunity. Cultural & Historical interest   
Clive Walker`s Rhino Museum in Melkrivier is only a 20 minutes drive. Visit and feed the Rhino by hand! There is also the Waterberg Museum situated.
