Situated in the heart of trendy Musgrave, 164 is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, cinemas, bars and close by the main City Centre, Race Course, ICC, Sports Stadiums, shopping centres and main beaches - however 164 is postioned on a quiet road and offers all the convenience but non of the noise.
We offer luxurious, stylish accommodation and award winning food but at rates that are deliberately truely value for money. Built in 1928 this old Durban colonial home is fresh from complete renovation and has a 20 metre swimming pool set in large tropical gardens. 164 is fully licenced by local authorities, we also offer a full service bar which again is fully licenced. Please note 164 is children free, (ie. NO children)

Accommodation & Facilities
All rooms at 164 are en suite with either a full shower or claw foot tub/bath. Each room offers TV, DVD players, individual air con, ceiling fans, safe, hairdryer, kettle and coffee machine, bathrobes and either queen size extra length or king size beds (twin beds also available on request). Original artworks abound and the ambience is upmarket but comfortable and welcoming in keeping with the age of the home but with a contemporary twist. Breakfasts change daily and are normally served on the veranda or by the pool. All rooms are NON smoking but smoking is permitted in the bar or outside.
Off street parking is available.
